Affordable school and college funding for equipment and sports pitches

Let us quickly secure the funds needed for your school with our expertise and specialist lenders who understand your requirements and budget.

Compliant leasing Solutions

One of the challenges facing the education sector is budget constraints. Our compliant leasing solutions can be used to fund necessary equipment, meaning schools can spread the cost through affordable fixed rental payments, which can be adapted to suit each school’s budgetary requirements.

Currently, an OPERATING LEASE is the only type of lease agreement that state-funded schools (local authority or academy) can enter into without prior approval from the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).

Our funding specialists thoroughly understand the Education and Public Sector, offering a range of programmes that are fully compliant with the UK Education sector. They are listed as approved suppliers on several Government-approved Frameworks.

How does it work?

Leasing can often seem daunting and complicated, but with the right advice and payment plan, it’s actually a simple and cost-effective option for schools to get up-to-date equipment without breaking the budget! Plus, we are there to hold your hand every step of the way.

We will assist throughout the process, leaving you free to get on with your daily tasks.

A few simple steps are all it takes to make leasing an effortless process..png

What are the advantages of leasing?

There are several great advantages when leasing equipment, including not having to pay the full cost of the asset upfront, thereby releasing much needed funds.

Leasing may mean you have access to a higher standard of equipment, which might be too expensive for you to buy otherwise.

Upgrade immediately - Upgrade your school’s technology, equipment and facilities immediately, without the need to save up your budget to buy upfront.

The asset is effectively paid for over the fixed period that you use it, which helps you budget for the future. As monthly rental costs are usually fixed, it can be easier to forecast cash flow.

What is an OPERATING LEASE?

An operating lease allows a school to use the asset over an agreed period in return for rental payments.

These payments do not cover the full cost of the asset as the lease will generally run for less than the full economic life of the asset, and the funder would expect the asset to have a resale value at the end of the lease, known as the residual value.

Ownership of the asset remains with the funder, and the asset will either be returned at the end of the lease, or you can continue to rent the asset at a fair market rent.

With an operating lease, there is no option for the school to take title at the end of the lease.
